PICKUPS: Righteous Sound Pickups – the ‘Big Al™’ … “AL for Alnico that is” … If you’re looking for a more traditional Fender tone in our Filtertron footprint, look no further than the Big Al™. This ‘noise-less’ design, built around Alnico rod magnets for the pole pieces, has more of the snap, chime, and clarity of a single-coil pickup compared to a traditional Filtertron but without any of the 60-cycle hum.
