Our take on the classic single cutaway. A ‘Pear’ shape profile with soft curves defines our Belltone® body design. Made of Alder wood for its tonal qualities and smooth fine grain.

Devil’s Tail™ T-Style / Filtertron Bridge
Lightweight all-aluminum machine tooled plate with vintage solid brass 3 saddles set up … updated with ‘swivel’ saddle lock features for more flexibility, accuracy and stability for intonation. The smooth, rounded ‘Devil’s Tail’ rear of the bridge provides a softer and more comfortable resting anchor for palm of the picking hand compared to traditional T-style stamped bridges

We exclusively use Emerson electronics featuring hand-selected, premium audio quality parts to achieve consistent & reliable tone … including our very own Emerson Pro pots which feature a ‘treble bleed’ taper for retaining high end frequency response that is unmatched. Each and every component is specifically selected to provide maximum clarity and performance from our pickups and controls
Pickup Format
All Belltone® guitars come with standard ‘Filtertron’ pickup routs. This is for both the bridge and neck pickups. We offer a wide range of selectable filtertron sized pickup options that can cover everything from the traditional filtertron, original and modern gain PAF humbuckers, vintage P-90 growl, and classic and hot rodded single coil tones.
Pickguard
Taking our cues from the classics, our Belltone® pickguard is standard vintage-inspired design.
Hardshell Case
Our Belltone® custom-built hardshell wood cases have been designed to exclusively fit and protect our Belltone´guitars with molded foam body-hugging cushioning for maximum stability and security.
Finish Format
One of our primary objectives at Belltone®Guitars was to develop a specific finishing aesthetic that represented what we were looking for in a new guitar. We wanted to capture a more retro look and broken-in feel … a guitar having a softer and warmer persona … something in contrast to the high buffed gloss and bright shiny chrome that has been the status quo benchmark for most new electric guitars since their introduction. At the same time, we did not want to swing the pendulum in the opposite direction and go the faux relic and fake aged and distressed look, as being a new guitar brand, we felt it less than genuine. The finish profile we aspire to is more akin to a classic ‘closet-kept’ vintage guitar that has aged but has been well maintained over the years. Our guitar bodies are finished with a thin vintage nitro lacquer and buffed to a soft-gloss shine… not too dull, not too bright. Our necks are also finished with the same thin vintage nitro lacquer and have a smooth soft-gloss finish for effortless movement up and down the fingerboard. The majority of our hardware and pickups have a duller, brushed nickel ‘Airstream’ finish. We believe that the combination of this approach works to reach our goal.
